How Meridians handles the data you give us about yourself and your buildings, and the data we collect on your behalf.
Meridians Energy, a product of Radiant Solar Ltd. Where these pages refer to "we" or "us", they mean Radiant Solar Ltd trading as Meridians Energy.
- -Account data: your name, work email address, organisation and role, and the record of your sign in activity.
- -Site data: the addresses, floor areas, tenure, energy certificate details, meter point numbers and connection details of buildings you add.
- -Consumption and billing data: readings, bills and contract details, either uploaded by you, obtained from your supplier under a letter of authority you sign, read from a portal you grant us access to, or supplied by a data partner.
- -Activity data: a log of significant actions taken in your workspace, which exists so that you and we can see who did what.
To model what each of your buildings could save, to check your bills for charging errors, and where you ask for a quote, to brief the installers you asked for well enough that they do not waste your time. We do not use your data to train models that write figures, and no financial figure shown to you is produced by an automated language system.
Only when you press get quote on a specific measure at a specific building, and only for that measure at that building. What is shared is the site, the measure, and the consumption data needed to quote it accurately, and you are told what will be shared before you confirm.
Consumption data obtained from a data partner rather than from you is marked internal only. It is used for your own modelling and it is never passed to an installer and never shown as raw data.
Your details reach the number of installers you chose when you asked for a quote, one, two or three, and nobody else. They are not visible to any installer before an introduction is made, and no installer sees another installer's quote, price or booking.
If you arrived through a partner, that partner is recorded against your organisation. A partner can see the name of your organisation, how many sites you have added and how far the work has reached, unless you ask us to withhold your identity, in which case they see counts only. Partners never see your consumption data, your contract figures or your modelled savings.
Data is held in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area by our infrastructure providers. Access within your account is restricted to members of your own workspace, and files are stored privately and served through short lived links rather than public URLs.
We keep site and consumption data for as long as your account is open, and for a period afterwards where we are required to retain records of work introduced. You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Where deletion would conflict with a record we must keep, we will tell you which record and why.
