Keeps you signed in to your workspace and refreshes that session while you are using the application. Without it you would have to sign in on every page. Strictly necessary.
If you arrive through a partner link, the partner code is held in your browser until you finish signing up, so that your organisation is attributed correctly. It holds a code and nothing about you.
Where a partner button passes a site address or a measure, that is held briefly in your browser so the form is prefilled after you sign in. It never carries a price or any financial value.
Meridians can be installed as an application, and the browser stores the application files so that it opens quickly. This is not tracking and holds no personal data.
You can clear this storage at any time through your browser settings. Clearing the sign in session will sign you out, and clearing a referral before you finish signing up means the partner who introduced you will not be recorded.
